Buckwheat Groats #Risotto with #boletes – #Groatsotto with wild
mushroom It’s fall, which means it’s boletes harvest season! This weekend, I was wandering around my local shop when I spotted some fresh bay boletes.
If you’ve checked out my recipes page, with few different recipes for risotto, you know I love it. But this time I decided to make risotto on base of #buckwheat roasted #groats.
With its delicate nuttiness, buckwheat roasted groats is ideal for wild mushrooms, but any groats will be just as good.

Millet Balls with Lemon Dill Sauce
This recipe also contains whole hulled organic #millet. Do not be surprised, I love millet! What a fun new way to make it! One of the best thing about this recipe is that it’s totally customisable. You can use exactly what I used in my balls or whatever you have in your fridge: olives, capers, roasted peppers, artichokes. For my sauce - I decided to go with dill lemon sauce for refreshing the taste of this dish. Very aromatic and flavourful Thai #cuisine experiment in my kitchen, it is also vegan and gluten free meal. I needed some green meal for St. Paddy’s Day. Using a combination of original Thai recipe and another #vegetarian one, I made the Vegan Thai Green #Curry. This is beautiful and simple to make from a scratch. I love chocolate and coconut together… and #brownies. Is there anything better? A decadent chewy dark chocolate brownie is added with coconut oil to give it just enough flavour but to not make it overpowering. #Sourdough Pizza Bianca – white Pizza I love #pizza! I've made several white pizza recipes before and this is by far the best. I serve it with an arugula salad with lemon-olive oil dressing. Sometimes I brush the dough with garlic olive oil before adding the cheese sauce. The topping for this version can be slightly modified if you’d like. For example you can add asparagus or mushrooms, feel free to sub out the broccoli or use different cheeses. In my opinion this pizza recipes is fabulous!

Pear Marzipan Tart / Frangipane Try this beautiful rustic #tart with complementary flavours of pears on a base of #marzipan. This #frangipane is seriously absolutely beautiful. Frangipane is a centuries-old culinary term referring to a tart or #cake filling most commonly made with ground almonds. I use marzipan - it makes our tart a snap to fill and... just bake.

I know that I've mentioned this before… few times... but I do love making bread. Beetroot Sourdough Bread recipe is easy to make and is perfect when all that is needed is pink #bread. I used roasted beetroot purée and my bread is only slightly pink, but if you'll use fresh uncooked and pureed beetroots - it'll be perfect pink. You may wonder if the bread turns out too sweet or with a strong flavour of beets? Not really... it is still a #sourdough, but very moist and slightly sweet.

Fresh Fava Bean Hummus - Fresh fava beans are actually available in shops. This is a creamy green alternative to the usual chickpea-based #hummus. You can serve it with toasted pita or as a purée for grilled salmon or with hot from the oven focaccia sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Wonderful! Hope you enjoy this tasty hummus.
